NEW!  7th Grade Field Trip Information
Our annual 7th Grade Walk in the Woods trip is upon us! Students were given permission slips last
Tuesday during Flex. They are due to their science teacher by Friday, October 3. 
If students are in Flex rooms 509, 511, 512, or 513, they are going on 10/16 and should use this permission slip
If students are in Flex rooms 515, 517, 518, or 519, they are going on 10/17 and should use this permission slip.

Reading Curriculum
As part of the Readington reading curriculum, students engage with various texts in book clubs and during independent reading practice. It is important to note that as our students mature, so does the content of their reading material. Please review the grade-level appropriate letter regarding the content of the texts made available for student use during literacy periods.

 PaySchools Information 
Our district has selected PaySchools, an i3 Education product. The use of PaySchools Central is free for households, except for nominal service fees applied if households choose to prefund a student account using ACH or debit/credit cards.  Payment made with a checking account incurs a flat fee of $1.95.  Payment made with a debit or credit card incurs a fee of 3.5% plus $1.50 per transaction.  Funds can still be added without any fee by cash or check in the lunch line.  Funds for school fees should be directed to the person per the relative permission slip or instructions.

H.S.A. Viking Pep Rally - October 10th! 
The H.S.A. is hosting the annual Viking Pep Rally on Friday, October 10th, and our HBS, TBS, WHS and preschool family friends are invited to join us too! Check out the FLYER for more details! Come out to cheer on our RMS athletics teams (wear your blue and gold!), play fun games to win prizes, grab some food for purchase at on-site food trucks, and help us tape Mr. Charleston to the wall!! The pep rally is always a great time that you won’t want to miss! 

Cook’s Night Off, October 8th! 
Need a night off from cooking??  Let QCrew make dinner for you!  Pick-Up will be October 8, from 4-6pm on the RMS/HBS access road. Invest in Your Child: Join Our Go for The Gold HSA Membership Drive! 
Exciting news! Our membership drive is in full swing, and we're aiming for a record-breaking total! You can play a key role in helping us achieve this goal! NEW! 8th Grade Parent Information
On Thursday, September 18th, Ms. Hannah Perfetti, Marketing Coordinator for the Hunterdon Vocational School District, will be in attendance during our Back to School evening.  Ms. Perfetti will share a brief presentation on the various HCVSD high school programs, provide insight on the application process, and answer questions during 6, 7 and 8th period.

2. Reason for absence, lateness or early pickup
3. Probable date of return for absence.

Please remember that email is the preferred method for all attendance issues, but if you do not have access to email, you may call the attendance line at 908-534-2113, prompt #1.  Please be sure to bring in a doctor's note when your child returns from an illness or doctor/dentist appointment.

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to RMS the week of September 15th! Students will be shopping with their World Language/Alternate class.

Teachers will select books they would love to have in their classrooms and fill out slips that will be at the fair. The sale will run until Friday, September 12. There are multiple design and color options, with shirt pricing starting at just $15!  When placing orders, choose "pick up" delivery option at checkout and items will be shipped free of charge to your child's school and sent home with them.  We can’t wait to see everyone in their school gear!

 Bus Transportation
We kindly ask all families to be patient with transportation and expect delays for the first two weeks while all of our bus drivers take the time to learn their routes and students.

 Sports Tryouts
The first day for tryouts is tomorrow  September 4th, 2025.
