As part of this effort, Region I is partnering with Monarch Housing Associates to gather feedback from all families, regardless of housing status. We invite you to complete a brief, confidential survey (approximately 10 minutes) to help identify gaps in services and improve communication, connections, and supports for our community. Your input is valuable and appreciated.

7th & 8th Grade Students and Parents/Guardians
Save the date for our Open House! Hunterdon Central Regional High School invites current 7th and 8th grade students and their parents/guardians to a Campus Open House on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  The evening will be set up as a true Open House - you may arrive whenever you choose during that time period and decide where you'd like to go and what you're interested in seeing while you are on the Hunterdon Central Regional High School campus. For current 8th graders, this gives you another opportunity to familiarize yourself with our campus prior to your first day of high school. For 7th graders, this is an opportunity to explore Hunterdon Central and see what we have to offer before the end of the calendar year when you will start thinking about moving up to high school and course scheduling.
During the Open House:

  • You can take a campus tour with current HC students if interested.

  • Explore student clubs and athletic offerings in the cafeterias where you can also meet our Supervisors of Student Activities and Athletics.

  • Stop by a Parent Panel with our Parent Engagement Committee to answer any questions you might have, parent to parent.

  • Special Education students and parents/guardians can discuss transition and continuation of services with our Child Study Team and Special Services Administrators in the IMC (Instructional Media Center, aka library).

  • You can also meet and chat with our school counselors in the IMC if you have any questions or concerns about schedules or the transition to high school.

We will send more information as we get closer to May 5th. I hope you will save the date and join us for this great opportunity!
