NEW! Grades 6-8 In-Person Strategic Planning Forum Time Change - There has been a time change to the In-Person Strategic Planning Parent forum for parents with students in grades 6-8. The date is still the same on March 4th, however, the new time is 1:00 p.m. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope parents are able to participate. Remember there is also a virtual forum on March 5 @ 7:00 p.m.
NEW! STRATEGIC PLANNING GRADES 6-8 PARENT FORUMS - The Readington Township learning community is preparing for the development of its 2026-2031 Strategic Plan. As part of this process, all parents will soon have the opportunity to respond to an online survey that includes open-ended questions and opportunity for comment. Additionally, all parents are invited to join a virtual forum and/or an in-person forum with our facilitator, Judith Wilson. The forums are voluntary and no notes will be attributed to individuals. Parents of students in grades 6-8 are invited to join the following virtual forum: March 5 @ 7:00 p.m. / Grades 6-8 Parents Virtual An in-person forum will be held on March 4th at 1:00 PM in the Board Office conference room attached to Holland Brook School at 52 Readington Road. While we have reserved specific times for each grade-band in the district, please review all forum dates and times on our website and feel free to attend the one most convenient for you. Your ideas and recommendations will provide valuable input for this important work.

At the end of the school year, Mrs. Hruska will send your child’s school cumulative records to their respective high schools. Without a letter of acceptance on file, all school documents will automatically be forwarded to Hunterdon Central High School.

Parent Nominations for the Gifted and Talented Program
The Readington Township School District will begin accepting parent nominations for the Gifted and Talented Program for students in 1st-7th grade on February 1st. All parent nomination forms must be completed online no later than March 21st. Since the assessment process will begin immediately following the nomination deadline, late entries cannot be accepted.
If you are interested in nominating your child for the G&T program, please follow the link below. Students already participating in the GT program do not need to reapply.

It’s a great way to spend time with family, connect with the community, and support our schools.

We are looking for donations of snacks and water to sell at the performances, and also for some volunteers to work the snack tables.

Hunterdon Central’s scheduling window is open until the end of the day, Monday, February 16, 2026. All students should select 10 credits of electives, ranking them in priority order. In addition, students should also select an additional 10 credits of alternate or “back-up” classes in case their first choices are unavailable. NEW! Attention 8th Grade Parents
Hunterdon Central’s Freshman Scheduling - February 9th thru February 16th
Hunterdon Central emailed all students' Genesis credentials to parents on January 20th. This information is scheduled to be sent out again today, Wednesday, February 4th.
Beginning February 9th, parents and students will be able to view their RMS teachers’ course recommendations and select electives for their freshman year. The scheduling window will close on Monday, February 16th. We ask that all 8th-grade students select their electives, even if attending a different high school. Mrs. Goodfellow is scheduled to meet with all 8th-grade students on February 5th and 6th to familiarize them with the scheduling process.
Adam Connelly, Hunterdon Central School Counselor, and Mrs. Goodfellow will be available to provide scheduling support if needed during the OPS period on Monday, February 9th, and Tuesday, February 10th.

The HSA Spring Spirit Wear Sale starts on Friday, February 6th! Store site information will be pushed out on PTBoard and the HSA Facebook page on Friday and next Wednesday in the Genesis Blast. Is your child moving up to a different Readington school in September? Now is the perfect time to grab spirit wear for the school they’re moving up to (spirit days start early in September!) The HSA is working with a local Readington business (ChillHippo) for this sale. Purchasing spirit wear during this sale is a great way to support the HSA and a local business!

We’re inviting local businesses to support the HSA by sponsoring a date on our new Cash Calendar raffle fundraiser! By sponsoring a calendar date, your business will be prominently featured on our game card. Calendars will be available for all families to purchase, making this a great way to gain visibility with local families while supporting our school community.
