Hunterdon County Vocational School District invites middle school students and their families to attend an information session to learn more about full-time Career & Technical Education programs for high school. 8th grade students are eligible to apply for the 2025-2026 school year now through December 15th.
The Academies* (Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science & Applied Engineering, & Environmental Sustainability & Applied Engineering) are rigorous programs with competitive admissions offering opportunities to earn multiple college credits. There will be 4 information sessions regarding information about the Academies. Students and families interested in learning more about the different programs offered should attend one of the following information sessions. The dates & locations are as follows:
Each session will begin at 6pm. Registration is required for attendance. Please click here to register for a session.
The PolyTech programs** (Animal Science, Culinary Arts & Hospitality, Welding Technology, Advanced Manufacturing & Aeronautical Sciences, Diesel & Power Sports Technology, & Electrical Technology) are highly focused programs offering industry certifications or college credits to ensure students are workforce or college-ready. Students interested in one of the PolyTech Programs should attend the PolyTech Open House on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 6pm located at the current PolyTech building (10 Junction Rd. Flemington, NJ 08822). Registration is not required for this event. If you're unable to attend the Open House on 10/17, there will be another PolyTech Open House on December 5 at 6pm located at the current PolyTech Building (10 Junction Rd. Flemington, NJ). Registration is not required for this event.
Information sessions and/or Open Houses is not a requirement in order to apply or be accepted into a program, but it is strongly encouraged. Winter Shoppe - Starts 12/3!
The Winter Shoppe will be taking place at RMS Tuesday, 12/3 through Thursday, 12/5. Students will be able to shop during their lunch period to buy gifts for their loved ones at prices that fit every budget! Gifts start at $0.50 cents and go up to $15.00. Gift bags will also be provided for their gift giving so they can be holiday ready!

Viking Bingo REGISTRATION OPEN!
On Thursday, December 5th, the H.S.A. will be hosting Viking Bingo in the RMS cafeteria and there will be lots of fun for the whole family. We will play 8 games of Bingo, with 10 winners for each round. There will be over 80 awesome prizes up for grabs (and special Bingo game callers!). Students interested in one of the PolyTech Programs should attend the PolyTech Open House on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 6pm located at the current PolyTech building (10 Junction Rd. Flemington, NJ 08822). Registration is not required for this event. If you're unable to attend the Open House on 10/17, there will be another PolyTech Open House on December 3 at 6pm located at the current PolyTech Building (10 Junction Rd. Flemington, NJ). Registration is not required for this event.
Information sessions and/or Open Houses is not a requirement in order to apply or be accepted into a program, but it is strongly encouraged. School bus drivers are eligible for health and dental benefits, a pension or 403b with match, and the district has a CDL training program for those without licenses. Pay is up to $33/hour. Preschool bus aides can earn a stipend up to $4,525 for 1 hour of work per day for the school year. Interested persons can apply online or contact Jason M. We are excited to partner with Nex Level Ninja for another Kids Night Out event!! For $25 per child, Nex Level Ninja will provide a fun filled evening for all the attendees.

HSA Holiday Cookie Exchange Parent Social - Join us on November 20th for a traditional holiday cookie exchange and HSA parent social! Gather your best recipes, mix up some cookies, bake them up and get ready to mix, mingle and brainstorm ideas for HSA spring events. Come with at-least 4 dozen cookies (store bought is ok too). We will be encouraging new friendships and new ideas among good company while discussing ideas and gathering helpers for our Spring Events and the Elementary School Field Days.
